They were phenomenal to work with. They kept the price down. They were responsive; it was a holiday weekend, Good Friday but they came out. They were very accommodating and the people who installed for them are wonderful people. You are very comfortable having them came in to your home. They are very helpful. They come when they say they’ll come. Their price is reasonable. They are very nice people. I will use them again with no hesitation and I will recommend them to anyone.
Description of work: They put in a chair lift for my mother and also we had them come back to put in a grab bars for the shower. The second visit, they came here because a battery or the wire came off her chair, they repaired it with no service charge at all.
I just wanted to tell you that Mark and Dan are the best! They are prompt, they are dedicated to detail and committed to the job not the clock! And most importantly they are amazingly clean about everything they do and clean up every night. I think the bathroom is beautiful and I am so excited for my mom to feel so much more comfortable!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so diligent and hiring the right type of people. Believe me in my job I’m involved in new construction and I see such horrible sloppy work it is so ridiculous and that’s not the case here.
I requested quotes from several companies for installation of a lift to replace my old and no longer serviceable lift. 101 Mobility came out to size up my situation within a day or two and provided me with quotes for a couple of options within a week. The 53″ Bruno straight-through lift with an upper lift gate with mechanical/electrical interlocks that Greg quoted was the low bid (important–the whole cost was on me), the expected delivery and installation time of 1 week was the shortest of those who provided quotes (important because I couldn’t leave the house until a new lift was installed), and I liked working with him so 101 Mobility and the Bruno lift was my choice. The lift arrived a week after I put 50% down–removal of the old lift and installation of the new one took a day and a half. The guys that installed the unit were every bit as pleasant and professional as Greg despite the challenge of fitting the unit between two cement block walls that left only an inch or so to spare. There was a glitch with the upper lift gate–the specs provided by Bruno did not account for the added width of the upper lift gate actuator bracket. The guys set it up so that I could still use the lift while Bruno sent out a new gate that swings in the opposite direction to solve the problem–it was installed two weeks later. The total cost was $6614. The unit looks good and runs smoothly and quietly. I don’t expect to require much in the way of service but am confident that 101 Mobility will provide the same prompt and professional service when I need it. All in all, an excellent experience.
Description of work: The visit was the final installation step for a Bruno 53″ vertical platform lift. From my request for a quote in mid-May through final installation, Greg provided prompt, courteous, professional service from the first call through evaluation of my needs, selection of the appropriate lift and installation.
It was a very positive experience from my initial telephone inquiry for information through the home evaluation and the installation process. I was provided with a lot of helpful information during the initial telephone inquiry, and all of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. 101 Mobility-Pittsburgh was very accommodating in scheduling the home evaluation as well as the installation. The price was affordable (no hidden/extra costs) and less than a competitive brand I inquired about. 101 Mobility did not exert any pressure on us to purchase the equipment from them. The installer was punctual and the installation was completed in a couple of hours as we were told it would be, including an explanation and demonstration of the use of the chair lift. Both the owner and installer were very professional and personable. Based on our experience with 101 Mobility-Pittsburgh to date, I would have no reservation recommending them to others.
Description of work: 101 Mobility-Pittsburgh recently installed a Bruno brand chair lift in our home.
This was a request for a part on an existing stair glide which the company fulfilled promptly. This was not a service call but when I do need service on my Sterling Stair Glide I will call this company. I would recommend them because they went the extra mile to deliver the remote that I needed. They’re nice people.
Description of work: I ordered a remote for my stair glide from them. They were very |prompt to respond and even dropped the remote off to my home instead of mailing it. They were a pleasure to deal with.
I contacted 101 Mobility and was pleased with the service from the first call to the end result. It was easy to get an appointment, they were prompt and very polite, professional and thorough. I wanted a starlight installed and they showed me the options and it was all very clear and easy. I chose the model, and as it is hand made, custom made, I waited the usual 5 weeks or so and they came, installed it, went over any questions I had, etc.
A wonderful, easy, smooth experience. I’d recommend them to anyone.
The salesman came and was very knowledgeable and explained the chair lifts that his company sold. We decided on the Bruno because we had heard good things about it. The following week two men came out and installed it and it only took them a couple of hours. They explained how it works and we both tried it out before they left. We wanted it to help us carry things from the basement. We don’t need it yet for just going up and down the stairs but since we are both in our middle 80s we figured we will need it at some point. It’s great now when we go shopping to get the heavy items to the first floor. We used to make multiple trips up and down to get everything up stairs. Now we load up the chair and away it goes. It’s an expensive dumbwaiter but like I said we will need it some day. We priced the various chair lifts and we feel that we got the best price from a good company.
It’s a few weeks since I wrote this review and since then we have used it as a chair lift and it was great. I used it on one occasion that I had to make several trips up the steps and it was great to be able to sit and get lifted. Very glad we got this…
The company was very professional, installed a quality stair lift product at the agreed upon time. This made things much easier for my wife, who was quite ill at the time. After my wife passed away, the company uninstalled the stair lift and rebated what I thought was a reasonable amount to repurchase this unit. We’d had another stair lift also installed in our North Carolina home by a different company, and the company we dealt with there was disorganized, had an inferior product, arrived 6 hours later than promised without an apology, and low-balled me with their buy-back offer. Dealing with 101 mobility here in Pittsburgh was a vastly better experience by comparison. My only small frustration was that it took a number of calls to reach Greg about the buyback arrangements. Nonetheless I appreciated the work this company did for us.
We visited with the company President (Greg) last week and had the equipment installed on Tuesday, 10/6/2015.
Greg was very patient, professional and thorough about explaining the features and benefits of their products. The company’s installation team was punctual, professional and VERY neat & tidy. The installation team demonstrated our new stairlift and trained us to use it.
